Stay up to speed with the latest updates from HandsHQ - from small tweaks, to brand new features - here’s what the team has delivered in the last few months.
New features
Training Register Teams
We built the Teams feature to help you organise, filter and manage your workforce. Whether you’re a team manager needing detailed training oversight or a line manager focusing on direct reports, Training Register Teams lets you group and manage employees the way you want.
RAMS Analytics
Designed to always keep you up-to-date with the current state of your RAMS, the dashboard updates instantly to provide the most accurate information about which jobs are currently live, what approvals and signatures are outstanding, and your top risks.
Whether you need a deep dive into the data or a high-level overview, the choice is yours.
Tweaks and improvements
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
This addition is part of our ongoing commitment to ensure the safety and integrity of your account. Two-factor authentication provides an additional layer of security, requiring both your password and a second verification method when logging into HandsHQ which is often mandated by cyber security certifications.
Direct reports visibility
Direct reports now show on their line manager’s personnel profile, making it clear and transparent who is managing who in your business.
eLearning progress tracking
We made it easier to analyse your eLearning bookings, including which courses have been started and are in progress. To see this in action, go to the “Course register” and open a course in the side panel — you’ll see the personnel who have started that eLearning course.
Additional currencies for tracking training costs
To help you report on and predict future training costs in the currency of your choice, we’ve added more options to the app: British Pound (£, GBP), United States Dollar ($, USD), Euro (€, EUR), and Australian Dollar ($, AUD). You can configure currency in your account settings.
Persons at risk: select multiple options
Gone are the days when you could only choose one option in the “Persons at risk” selection. Now you can tick multiple options for each risk (e.g. “All site operatives” and “Public”), providing much better flexibility, accuracy and ease of use.
What’s coming soon?
In the upcoming months, we’ll be introducing some of the most requested features for both RAMS and Training Register:
- Personnel profile access: allow your employees to view their profiles on Training Register.
- Bulk booking and recording training: book and record training for multiple employees at a time.
- Auto-enrolment on eLearning: automatically enrol personnel onto eLearning courses before their current ones expire.
- Nearest hospital finder: locate the nearest hospital based on the postcode of your site's address.
In case you missed it - our favourite releases from a while ago
Training Register Reporting
We recently launched a very highly praised feature - Training Register Reporting. It was created to streamline your reporting process, providing comprehensive insights and facilitating smoother communication within your organisation.
It empowers you to export your training data with a wide selection of filters, letting you focus on what needs to be done first.
Custom eLearning courses
Our newest addition, custom eLearning courses, introduces an even more flexible way to arrange training for your workforce. It allows you to access eLearning courses from any provider, including those you've created yourself.
Set role-level training as an optional requirement
This new feature adds the ability to assign not only courses that are required by the role, but also optional ones. This gives you the ability to mass-assign optional courses via the roles tab.
Our mission
We believe in a world where everybody gets to go home safely at the end of the working day. We’re committed to doing our best to bring this vision to life together with you - our customers and partners.
